Since its creation in 1962, the Mineral & Gem Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines has been the leading trade fair for minerals, gems, fossils, meteorites and jewellery. Held annually, it is now the second largest mineral fair in the world, after the Tucson Mineral Show.
The show takes place from June 25 to 29, 2025, in Val d’Argent, in the town of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, in the Alsace region of France. This picturesque town has a rich mining history, including deposits of silver, cobalt, zinc and arsenic, providing a historical backdrop for the show.
The name of the show symbolises two main focuses: “Minerals” for raw materials, fossils and equipment, and “Gems” for cut gemstones, jewellery design and craftsmanship. Exclusive collections, scientific discoveries and modern tools and equipment for the processing of mineral materials will be on display during the show.
The exhibition is organized by SPL EVA, which has extensive experience, ensuring a smooth and professional execution of the exhibition. The exhibition center in the center of Saint-Mar-l-Min is easily accessible and has modern infrastructure, providing visitors with a comfortable exhibition experience.
In addition to the exhibition, a rich series of supporting activities are arranged during the exhibition, including lectures and conferences by experts on topics such as mineral symbiosis, gemology, volcanology, interactive sessions, children's activities, and cultural activities exploring local history and gastronomy, which greatly enrich the content of the exhibition.
The exhibition attracts visitors from various fields such as mining, jewelry design, science, education and tourism, providing a dynamic platform for trade, knowledge sharing and professional exchanges.
Unlike many other exhibitions, the Saint-Mar-l-Min Mineral and Gem Fair maintains a deep connection with its birthplace. Its close connection with the town of Saint-Mar-l-Min gives the exhibition a unique charm. This year’s show will be held over 5 days, it will be its 60th time, and the first 3 days will be dedicated to professional visitors.
